Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials in Dayton area is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand our K–12 educational materials footprint. You will cultivate new and existing school district partnerships, drive growth across assigned states, and collaborate with sales resources to execute strategies.

A strategic, outgoing leader with strong relationship skills will excel and earn uncapped commissions with a base salary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience with entrepreneurial know-how.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic and team player mentality, with ability to work from home.
• Residence in Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus areas with ability to travel within territory; ~30% overnight stays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers in a designated area.
• Partner with internal sales resources to support needs and increase business.
• Continuously call on, build, and maintain relationships with customers within territory.
• Collaborate with RVP/RD to build and drive sales strategies.
• Target key customers and assess uncovered needs.
• Communicate clearly with internal HQ teams to streamline communication and increase sales.
• Participate in local, state, and national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand.
