Job summary

ANDRITZ SEPARATION in the Midwest seeks an Area Sales Manager to service and expand the installed base, selling repair services, refurbishments, upgrades, parts, process optimization, and training across centrifuges and belt filter presses.

You will report to the Regional Service Sales Manager, collaborate with Service Center Managers and Product Specialists, travel as needed, and develop new customer relationships while maintaining satisfaction and meeting forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant sales experience, including team leadership.
• Established relationships with customers in the area preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel (overnight travel required).

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers in the Area on a regular basis to increase order intake.
• Maintains active communications with respective in-house personnel.
• Communicate customer visits in writing via CIC reports in an established, timely and consistent manner.
• Represents all product lines assigned on each customer visit.
• Assure customer satisfaction throughout the Area.
• Responsible for Area forecasts, budgets, and cost controls.
• Maintain established customer base and develop new relationships.
• Periodically evaluate effectiveness of key account sales strategies and tactics.
• Assist in co-coordinating ANDRITZ activities in each account.
• Pass on sales opportunities/leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.
