Area Sales Manager – Industrial Solutions

Job summary

ANDRITZ SEPARATION is seeking an Area Sales Manager to service and grow the installed base across multiple product lines including centrifuges and belt filter presses in the Midwest. You will drive repairs, refurbishments, upgrades, parts, and training while collaborating with service center managers and product specialists.

You will lead sales efforts, manage forecasts and budgets, build new customer relationships, and travel as needed to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in Industrial (Petrochemical/Pulp & Paper/General Chemical) and Municipal Industry (Water & Wastewater).
• Proven experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
• Established relationships with customers in the area is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel (overnight travel is required).
• Consider implications of financial decisions and suggests methods for meeting needs of staff and the organization overall.

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers in the Area on a regular basis to increase order intake.
• Maintains active communications with respective in-house personnel.
• Communicate customer visits in writing via CIC reports in an established, timely and consistent manner.
• Represents all product lines assigned on each customer visit.
• Assure customer satisfaction throughout the Area.
• Responsible for Area forecasts, budgets, and cost controls.
• Maintain established customer base and develop new relationships.
• Periodically evaluate effectiveness of key account sales strategies and tactics.
• Assist in co-coordinating ANDRITZ activities in each account.
• Pass on sales opportunities/leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.
