Regional Sales Manager HVAC - Midwest

Position Reporting

Reports to: Director, HVAC Sales

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager (HVAC) is an experienced industry influencer responsible for growing ABB's regional market share by managing dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers. This role supports ABB's HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. It offers an opportunity to demonstrate demand motivation and influence within a market-leading team environment.

The work model for this role is remote and contributes to the Motion Drive Products division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Communicating delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions to customers, aligned with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  2. Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities within the designated region.
  4. Managing administrative sales procedures and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Engineering Degree — bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with 8+ preferred, in complex business environments selling products or solutions.
  • Extensive sales experience and knowledge of VFD/HVAC applications.
  • History of account management with OEMs, End Users, and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
