Regional Sales Manager HVAC - Midwest

Position Reporting To

Director, HVAC Sales

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager (HVAC) is an experienced industry influencer responsible for growing ABB's market share regionally by managing dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers. This role supports ABB's HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. It offers an opportunity to demonstrate demand motivation and influence within a market-leading team environment. The work model is remote and contributes to the Motion Drive Products division.

You will mainly be accountable for:

  1. Communicating delivery details, payments, and general terms to customers in line with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  2. Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the designated region.
  4. Managing sales administrative procedures and supporting cash collection and project management as needed.

Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree - bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with 8+ preferred, in complex business environments selling products or solutions.
  • Extensive sales experience and background in VFD/HVAC applications.
  • Experience managing OEM, End User, and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
