This position reports to

Director, HVAC Sales

Your role and responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager (HVAC) is an experienced industry influencer who works to grow ABB's market share regionally by managing dedicated tier-1 Channel Partners and Commercial OEM customers in support of ABB's HVAC Drives product portfolio and market separation strategy. This challenging and rewarding role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to demonstrate superior demand motivation and earned influence while working in a market-leading team environment.

The work model for the role is remote.

This role contributes to the Motion Drive Products division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Communicating with customers about delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions, aligned with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  2. Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the designated region.
  4. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities when needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 8+ preferred, in a complex business environment selling products or solutions.
  • Extensive sales experience and background in VFD/HVAC applications.
  • History of account management with OEMs, End Users, and Commercial Channel Partners in the HVAC industry.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
