Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) role within its Industrial Technologies and Services (ITS) Business Unit will be responsible for sales growth and business development activities for air treatment solutions, including air dryers, process chillers, nitrogen generators, oil-water separators, both new sales and rentals in the Eastern US. The RSM will leverage technical expertise and work closely with channel partners to grow product presence, establish and expand distributor and OEM relationships, increase revenue and market share, and maintain profit margins.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and Develop Channel Partners: Build, manage, and develop a network of Channel Partners to drive sales. Assess partner capabilities, develop action plans, and appoint new partners as needed.
  2. Collaborate with Stakeholders to Drive Strategy: Work with Channel Partner Principals, Product Champions, and the Senior Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute territory strategies aligned with revenue, margin, and growth goals.
  3. Lead Sales Activities and Pipeline Development: Identify and pursue opportunities through cold calls, market research, and industry contacts. Maintain a sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  4. Provide Technical and Product Support: Offer product education and technical assistance, including troubleshooting and installation guidance.
  5. Engage in the Sales Cycle and Account Management: Participate in all sales stages, manage accounts, and assist with collections. Set goals and provide updates on progress.
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with Engineering, Product Development, and Operations for seamless implementation and account growth.
  7. Lead Customer Engagement and Presentations: Conduct presentations, attend trade shows, and develop leads.
  8. Oversee Channel Partner Network: Supervise a network of partners across multiple states, ensuring standards and objectives are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required or 5+ years of industrial sales experience in air compressors and/or air dryers.
  • Experience using data to influence distributor behavior and success.
  • Knowledge of air compression and treatment principles and applications.
  • Understanding of commercial terms such as payment, receivables, shipping, and contracts.

  • Technical Sales: Assess product applications and recommend solutions to meet customer needs.
Work Arrangement and Travel:

Up to 50%+ overnight travel required.

Pay Range:

The salary range is $100,000 – $110,000, with potential bonuses and incentives based on skills, experience, and location.
