Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Central to join the Power & Thermal Management Team in a remote role. This position drives profitable growth for Starline’s data center power infrastructure across the Central region, primarily through manufacturers’ representatives and channel partners.

The RSM owns regional strategy, sales execution, pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and engagement with data center owners, consultants, contractors, distributors, and influencers.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 5-7 years sales experience required, account management experience preferred.
• 1-3 years management/leadership experience preferred.
• Successful track record of sales in a B2B environment or equivalent in strategic markets (data center, industrial, retail).
• Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical sales plans.
• Progressive responsibility in sales and marketing positions.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the region’s annual revenue objective.
• Manage sales channel with Starline reps, resellers, and direct salespeople; optimize representation.
• Develop and implement target market, account strategies, and prospecting plans.
• Negotiate contracts and assist in their administration.
• Create proposals, sales letters, and deliver presentations.
• Monitor market trends and align product development with market needs.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and regional planning.
• Maintain professional relationships with partners and customers.
