What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead existing HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, and Seismic businesses in the Central Territory by building relationships with key influencers and identifying new opportunities
- Direct 3rd party agents to focus on servicing key customers and partners within the region
- Develop a 3-year sales strategy and tactical plan to achieve sales targets for the Fire Protection portfolio
- Provide product expertise through training and presentations to contractors and distributors
- Utilize Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline and communicate competitive feedback internally
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or applicable experience in mechanical sales
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales and/or territory management experience, preferably in HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, or Seismic commercial sales
- Experience working directly with end-user customers on projects
- Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to travel 60% on average within the region and work remotely
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Fire Protection sales
- Experience leading direct reports, 3rd party sales agents, or channel partners
- Strong preference for value-based selling skills and technical sales experience
