What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead existing HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, and Seismic businesses in specified territories by building relationships with key influencers and identifying new opportunities
- Direct 3rd party agents to focus on servicing key customers and partners in the region
- Develop a three-year sales strategy and tactical plan for the Fire Protection portfolio
- Provide product expertise through training and presentations to contractors and distributors
- Utilize Salesforce for managing the opportunity pipeline and communicating competitive feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or applicable experience in mechanical sales
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales and/or territory management experience, ideally in HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, or Seismic commercial sales
- Experience working with end-user customers on projects
- Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to travel 60% of the time within the region and work 100% remotely from home
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Fire Protection sales
- Value-based selling skills and technical sales experience
- Experience leading direct reports and/or 3rd party sales agents or channel partners
