Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for the MedTech Surgery business in a field-based role across multiple states, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport. The RSM will lead facility-level account plans, coach sales reps, and coordinate resources to meet customer needs in a compliant, ethical manner.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in clinical sales or leadership, with a Bachelor's degree and travel willingness up to 60%. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field is required, MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant business/leadership experience required.
• 3–5 years in clinical sales, marketing, or related commercial roles preferred.
• 1–2 years coaching/mentoring/train­ing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Enable facility-level account management with per-facility account plans.
• Develop relationships with key facility stakeholders and decision makers.
• Ensure critical enablers (people, processes, programs, tools, tech) are used effectively.
• Coordinate demand and access resources and create cost-benefit analyses.
• Collaborate across MedTech Surgery to meet facility needs.
• Analyze contracts and propose best recommendations.
• Identify growth opportunities using business acumen tools.
• Lead and develop sales reps; conduct field visits; plan development.
• Recruit and hire to fill territories with qualified reps.
• Lead selling process ethically and effectively; drive customer action.
• Coach reps on product questions and objections per training methods.
• Understand surgical use of products and coach targeting of customers.
• Conduct business in line with policies and drive team tone and conduct.
