Job summary

Sysco in California is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead Territory Managers, set strategic plans with the Regional VP, and drive profitability and growth in line with the company vision.

You will coach TMs, recruit and develop talent, forecast sales, manage accounts, utilize Salesforce.com and other tools, travel as needed, and partner with operations to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business administration) or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• 2 or more years' experience successfully growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry.
• 5+ years' foodservice sales experience in the foodservice industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast annual sales quotas for districts and territories.
• Lead and develop Territory Managers to achieve sales goals.
• Recruit and train TMs and ensure accountability.
• Coordinate with HR and cross-functional teams.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and other tools for CRM and analytics.
• Travel as required and maintain customer relationships.
