Job summary

Sysco is seeking a District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead Territory Managers across California. You will set sales objectives, forecast volumes, and drive profitability while building strategic plans with leadership to grow existing client revenue and acquire new accounts.

You will recruit and mentor TMs, monitor performance, and collaborate with HR, operations and sales teams to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve district goals.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience growing profitable sales in foodservice.
• Five+ years’ foodservice sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for districts and territories.
• Work closely with TMs to project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new properties.
• Ensure plans are followed by TMs to meet goals.
• Spearhead recruitment and development of TMs for the district, fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor, evaluate and provide feedback to TMs on progress toward goals.
• Lead and facilitate change management in support of organizational goals.
