Job summary

Karius is expanding its commercial team to accelerate adoption of its infectious disease sequencing test across hospitals and health systems in the U.S. The Clinical Sales Manager will drive sales strategy, manage physician and executive relationships, and lead negotiations with hospital accounts in the Oklahoma and Arkansas region.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5 years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with hospital leadership and clinicians.
• Experience introducing transformational products to physicians and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals and expanding within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to meet territory and company goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for novel diagnostic approaches.
• Secure contracts and renewals to ensure long-term relationships and revenue predictability.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product leadership to provide market feedback and strategic input.
• Present product features and ROI to stakeholders and guide evaluations and adoption.
