Job summary

Karius, a life sciences company advancing diagnostic metagenomics, seeks a Clinical Sales Manager to drive the launch and expansion of our Next-Generation Sequencing test across hospitals and health systems in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

You will build relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and executives, lead regional strategy, secure contracts, and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Customer Success to accelerate adoption and ensure measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences / Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostic Equipment, and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Robust network of relationships in hospitals and health systems including C-level executives and administrators.
• Experience introducing transformational products to physicians and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to achieve territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for the new diagnostic approach.
• Build and nurture regional hospital & health system accounts.
• Present product features to stakeholders and drive adoption and ROI.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership to provide market feedback.
