Job summary

Leavitt Industrial Group in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a sales team and drive revenue for Lonestar Forklift. This onsite role focuses on building a high-performing team, developing accounts, and delivering rental revenue.

You will hire, coach, and set targets while managing commissions and leveraging CRM to analyze activity and trends. Travel within the territory and collaboration with manufacturers are integral parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in outside sales in material handling equipment.
• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in sales.
• Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
• Proven cold calling and telephone marketing skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office; CRM experience is an asset.
• Highly organized with good time management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a sales team based on market penetration and profitability.
• Provide ongoing sales training, coaching, and mentorship for sales reps.
• Set targets and provide coaching to attain results.
• Manage monthly commissions for Sales Representatives.
• Create reports on sales activity and trends.
• Use CRM to monitor and manage sales pipeline metrics.
• Collaborate with business units to target large accounts.
• Identify and target complex, large accounts for the team.
• Visit customers with Sales Representatives as needed.
• Ensure focus on rental revenue and profitability.
• Partner with manufacturers as directed by GM.
• Address elevated customer concerns from the Sales department.
• Monitor competitor activity and market strategies.
