Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc invites an accomplished Regional Sales Director for Advanced Missions to lead our federal sales team across DoD and INTEL sectors. You will own territory strategy, drive license, support and service revenue, and coordinate with inside sales and partners to maximize deal size and speed of closure.

You have a proven track record in enterprise software/SaaS sales to government customers, hold active TS/SCI with poly, and are willing to travel up to 50% while residing within

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of enterprise technology sales leadership experience.
• 5+ years of direct software/SaaS selling to Public Sector DoD/INTEL.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph on file.
• Willing to travel up to 50% to client sites, conferences and events.
• Must live within commutable distance to the DC Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Advanced Missions sales team directly under NatSec/Aerospace & Defense.
• consistently deliver licenses, support and service revenue targets.
• Territory mapping, account planning and opportunity management.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with large federal customers by selling value.
• Collaborate with inside sales and partners for efficiency.
• Utilize sales engineering, in-house and partner resources.
• Lead and coach the team in strategy and calls.
• Hire and scale the team to match growth.
• Use Cisco sales methodology and cross-functional inputs to optimize resources.
• Work with international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and value.
• Provide timely input to product management and marketing.
