Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director, Sales – Splunk Federal Civilian to lead second-line sales managers and enterprise account executives across U.S. Federal Civilian agencies.

You will drive GTM execution, build executive relationships with SES leaders and agency CIOs/CISOs, and partner with GSIs and VARs to accelerate growth. You will own multi-million dollar annual software license, SaaS, and recurring revenue targets, maintain rigorous pipeline, and forecast revenue while collaborating

Qualifications

• at least 5 years of proven experience leading quota-carrying enterprise software sales teams in the U.S. Federal market.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience as a second-line sales leader (managing first-line sales managers).
• Documented track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar annual sales quotas as a sales leader in the Federal sector.
• ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead, mentor, and manage first-line sales leaders and quota-carrying account teams covering U.S. Federal Civilian agencies.
• Establish clear performance standards, support professional growth, and build high-retention sales teams.
• Own and deliver multi-million dollar annual software license, SaaS, and recurring revenue targets for the Federal Civilian business.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline development and accurate quarterly and annual revenue forecasting.
• Engage directly with agency CIOs, CISOs, CDOs, and procurement leaders to communicate TCO, mission resilience, and architectural differentiation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, GSIs, VARs, Capture/BD, and Customer Success teams.
