Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Director for Advanced Missions in the DC metro area.

You will lead a high-performing team targeting DoD and intelligence community customers, driving enterprise software sales and revenue growth across government programs. You will own territory planning, pricing negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with product management, marketing, and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of enterprise technology sales leadership experience.
• At least 7 years of direct (software/SaaS) selling experience to Public Sector within the DoD and INTEL Community.
• Must have an active Federal government clearance of Top Secret/SCI with polygraph on file.
• Willing to travel up to 50% to client site, conferences and networking events.
• Must live within a commutable distance from Washington DC Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Advanced Missions sales team directly within NatSec/Aerospace & Defense.
• Deliver licenses, support and service revenue targets on time.
• Territory mapping, account planning and opportunity management.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with large enterprises by selling value and ROI.
• Collaborate with inside sales and partners for efficiency.
• Use sales engineering and partner services resources.
• Involve yourself in account planning and strategy and coaching the team.
• Hire and build the team to match growth and deploy resources effectively.
• Leverage Cisco sales methodology and cross-border collaboration to expand deal size.
