Job summary

Goodwill Southern California seeks a Retail Regional Training Manager to strengthen store performance by developing and training management teams across assigned locations in the Greater Los Angeles area.

The role delivers hands-on, store-based training on operations including production, pricing, merchandising, customer and donor service, safety, and standards, with frequent travel and leadership collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Training, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive retail management, operations, or training experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on training and coaching to store management teams across locations.
• Conducts store-based training assignments lasting 1–2 weeks.
• Trains managers to understand sales, production, payroll, and performance metrics.
• Delivers coaching on communication, prioritization, feedback, and accountability.
• Supports onboarding and development of new Store Managers and Ambassadors.
• Assesses operations gaps and recommends training improvements.
• Travels frequently to retail locations (75%).
