Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a Retail Service & Operations Manager to lead one of our retail stores, boutiques, or attended donation centers in Los Angeles. Under the Site Manager, you’ll drive seamless operations, exceptional customer and donor experiences, and strong team performance in service of our mission.

This role requires 2–4 years of supervisory retail experience, strong communication, and proficiency with POS, Outlook, Excel, and HRIS/timekeeping.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in retail or a customer-focused operations role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and HRIS/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Manager to hit store goals in sales, service, payroll, safety, and expenses.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty, handling opening/closing and cash.
• Lead and coach Ambassadors to deliver great customer and donor experiences reflecting our RISE values.
• Maintain safety, loss prevention, and standards compliance.
• Oversee merchandising, signage, and floor presentation per guidelines.
• Support donation processing and backroom organization.
• Participate in CRM programs and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure clean, safe store environment; adapt to brand standards.
• Work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.
