Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to oversee restaurant management teams across the district, ensuring they meet job expectations and drive performance. You’ll supervise multiple units, coach managers, and enforce standards while aligning with company policies and safety requirements.

The role emphasizes training, development, and recruitment of General Managers and GMITs, with travel 4-5 days per week and a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years restaurant experience required.
• 3-5 years in management positions (multi-unit experience preferred).
• Financial planning including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all district Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant’s QSC standards; provides coaching and conducts inspections.
• Communicates customer comments to Restaurant Managers and follows up to ensure timely action.
• Ensures orientation, training, and development for General Managers and GMITs.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to Team Members.
• Evaluates General Managers/GMITs against set standards and expectations.
• Recruits General Managers and GMITs; matches management to restaurant needs.
• Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions; supports marketing programs.
• Upholds laws and company policies; serves as a positive role model for the team.
• Negotiates district contracts and ensures approval through company processes.
