Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple restaurant management teams across the district, ensuring training, performance, and guest satisfaction while upholding food safety and company policies.

You will evaluate operations, coach General Managers, manage budgets and P&L, and recruit talent to maximize results. Willingness to travel 4–5 days per week and a strong leadership background are required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of restaurant experience.
• 3-5 years in management (multi-unit preferred).
• Proficiency in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all district team members are trained, motivated, and delivering guest satisfaction.
• Evaluate each restaurant's standards and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Communicate customer comments to restaurant management and follow up on resolutions.
• Ensure orientation and development for General Managers and GMITs.
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to staff.
• Evaluate GM/GMIT performance against defined standards.
• Provide counseling or discipline when needed.
• Train and roll out new products, programs, and changes.
• Actively recruit General Managers and GMITs for openings.
• Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Support marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies.
• Ensure legal and policy compliance in business practices.
• Serve as a role model and uphold company values.
• Negotiate vendor contracts per company process.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation requirements.
