Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to lead restaurant management teams across the district, ensuring performance against job descriptions and driving guest satisfaction.

The candidate will coach General Managers and GMITs, supervise training, and manage financial planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L responsibilities. This role requires extensive travel and a strong track record in multi-unit restaurant leadership.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience required.
• 3-5 years in management positions (multi-unit experience preferred).
• Financial planning aptitude including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all district team members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant's standards and provides coaching and inspections.
• Communicates customer comments to restaurant management and follows up for timely action.
• Ensures orientation and development opportunities for General Managers and GMITs.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to improve team performance.
• Evaluates overall GM/GMIT performance against set standards.
• Provides counseling and discipline when needed.
• Trains on new products, programs, and changes.
• Active recruitment of General Managers and GMITs; optimizes staffing for results.
• Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions as needed.
• Supports marketing programs and evaluates local marketing strategies.
