Job summary

Wonder is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations of a high-volume restaurant. You will help create a positive work environment, prioritize food safety and team safety, and deliver exceptional customer service across shifts.

Responsibilities include leading staff, recruiting and training, achieving operational goals, and ensuring smooth operations while maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant supervisor or management experience in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to manage and develop teams of 15+ members.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in developing, engaging, inspiring, and motivating staff.
• Recruit and train top talent for the restaurant.
• Aid General Manager in achieving operational goals and budget targets.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding priorities, protocols, and changes.
• Demonstrate effective floor management by optimizing staff deployment.
• Drive restaurant sales and service efficiency by resolving obstacles.
• Supervise inventory and food safety protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Commit to ongoing training and development in kitchen and dining room operations.
