Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a District Manager to oversee Restaurant Management Teams across the district, ensuring each team meets job responsibilities and expectations. You will drive guest satisfaction, coach leaders, and uphold QSC standards while aligning operations with company policies.

The role requires 7–10 years of restaurant experience and 3–5 years in management, with strong financial planning and P&L oversight. Travel to stores 4–5 days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years previous restaurant experience required.
• 3-5 years in management positions (multi-unit experience preferred).
• Financial planning including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all District Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant’s QSC standards; provides feedback and coaching; conducts inspections.
• Communicates customer comments to Restaurant Managers; follows up to ensure timely handling.
• Ensures General Managers and GMITs receive orientation, training, and development opportunities.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to motivate and improve performance.
• Evaluates overall performance of General Managers and GMITs against standards.
• Provides counseling and/or discipline when needed.
• Trains and follows up on new products, programs, and changes.
• Actively recruits new General Managers and GMITs; aligns management skills to restaurant needs.
• Analyzes business performance; initiates corrective actions when deviations occur from financial targets.
• Supports company marketing programs; evaluates local restaurant marketing strategies.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; maintains ethical standards.
• Serves as a role model for the team in business and personnel management.
• Negotiates district vendor contracts; follows approval processes.
• Upholds food safety and sanitation requirements to protect guests and team members.
