Job summary

The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), seeks a Developmental Services Assistant Regional Residential Manager to oversee North Region programs in East Hartford and Windham. You will supervise staff, coordinate residential operations, and ensure high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

This role requires on-call availability, travel, and strong leadership to support program goals, policy implementation, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in a program for individuals with an intellectual disability.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws and human rights protections.
• Experience with person-centered supports and interdisciplinary service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and operations of community living programs.
• Coordinate activities across residential and campus settings.
• Develop goals, policies, and monitor compliance and safety.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff; lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel as required and provide on-call leadership during emergencies.
