Job summary

The Department of Developmental Services seeks a Director of Service Development and Support to lead the Resource Management Division in the North Region, overseeing a team of 15 and the regional budget for diverse services.

Based in East Hartford, CT, this full-time role requires travel and entails strategic planning, program development, and quality monitoring across numerous supports and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

Eight years of experience in human services or education programs.
Two years in supervisory or managerial capacity coordinating services.
Current CT state employee with at least six months of service with DDS.
Experience managing supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Experience in budget management, fiscal analysis and quality monitoring.
Experience with Microsoft platforms and DDS Systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee staff of 15 and manage the Resource Management Division.
Administer the regional budget for private residential/day supports, forensics, rent subsidy and transfers.
Provide oversight of individual budgets and the Fiscal Intermediary Liaison function.
Based in East Hartford, CT, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with travel.
