Job summary

Emerson Electric Co is seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow the Power & Water Solutions Renewables portfolio across utility-scale solar, BESS, and wind opportunities. You will own a regional account base with national reach, delivering value through plant controls, SCADA, and ROC solutions on the Ovation platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of sales or business development experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping the market and engaging potential customers.
• Collaborate with existing customers to uncover new projects where Emerson PWS solutions deliver value.
• Develop competitive strategies with differentiation insights, pricing recommendations, and negotiations.
• Deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase new products and services.
• Recommend tailored technology and service solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share updates with PWS management.
• Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
• Achieve annual bookings and margin objectives within your territory.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update the CRM system regularly.
