Job summary

Emerson's Power & Water Solutions Renewables team seeks a sales professional with experience in utility-scale Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), or wind projects to own and grow a regional portfolio with national reach.

You will identify opportunities, collaborate with customers, and deliver technical presentations and demos to differentiate Emerson PWS solutions on the Ovation platform. Travel up to 75% is required, and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of sales or business development experience.
Minimum of 3 years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping the market and engaging potential customers.
Collaborate with existing customers to uncover new projects where Emerson PWS solutions deliver value.
Develop competitive strategies by providing differentiation insights, pricing recommendations, and leading negotiations.
Deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase new products, enhancements, and services.
Recommend tailored technology and service solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
Stay informed on industry trends and share updates with PWS management to guide strategic decisions.
Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
Achieve annual bookings and margin objectives within your territory.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update the CRM system regularly.
