Job summary

Emerson is seeking a sales professional to drive growth in utility-scale solar PV, Battery Energy Storage, and wind projects within the Power & Water Solutions Renewables team. You will own a regional account portfolio with national reach, delivering plant controls, SCADA, and ROC solutions on the Ovation platform.

You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, lead competitive strategies, and deliver technical presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience.
Minimum 3 years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%.
Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping the market and engaging potential customers.
Collaborate with existing customers to uncover new projects where Emerson PWS solutions deliver value.
Develop competitive strategies with pricing recommendations and leading negotiations.
Deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase new products, enhancements, and services.
Recommend tailored technology and service solutions to meet customer requirements.
Stay informed on industry trends and share updates with PWS management.
Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
Achieve annual bookings and margin objectives within your territory.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update the CRM system regularly.
