Avangrid Power, LLC seeks a Senior Manager to lead regional organic growth. You will develop and implement strategy across multiple markets to achieve yearly objectives, coordinate with senior leaders, and drive FID and COD goals for a growing renewables portfolio.

You will oversee a regional greenfield development team, manage budgets, and collaborate with permitting, interconnection, and legal groups to advance projects toward construction and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant business experience in the power industry.
• 8+ years of project development experience in wind and solar development with demonstrated experience of working in targeted development markets.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Project Management experience.
• Demonstrable experience and success of leading development and bringing to construction and operations multiple renewable energy projects.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more throughout designated region and to corporate headquarters.
• Proficiency in Windows based business software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS and Google Earth or similar geographic mapping software.

Responsabilités

• Define growth plan and priority regions with senior leadership, including pipeline, budgets and staffing.
• Lead regional development teams to build renewable energy projects and markets.
• Develop and implement regional strategic plans and budgets.
• Build a strong greenfield project pipeline to meet business plans.
• Lead, manage and develop multi-person project management and development teams.
• Coordinate sales and market development strategies with origination teams.
• Ensure budgets align with approved strategies and variances when needed.
• Identify competitive market opportunities and ROI alignment.
• Support development teams in zoning, permitting and regulatory compliance.
