Job summary

Westlake Services, LLC is seeking a Regional Asset Manager in Minneapolis with remote work options. You will manage repossessed vehicle inventory, oversee auction vendor relationships, and coordinate valuation, reconditioning, and sale preparation to maximize net recovery.

The role requires independence, strong decision-making, and adherence to company policies and regulations in a fast-paced setting. Collaboration with auction management and various departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or college-equivalent education.
• 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience.
• Experience with vehicle valuation and reconditioning processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage vendor performance per company guidelines.
• Manage regional inventory, including transport status, inspections, reconditioning estimates, and sale prep.
• Conduct on-site reviews of auction procedures and sale effectiveness.
• Organize vendor status meetings and follow-up on deficiencies.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management when needed.
• Identify and execute market arbitrage opportunities.
• Audit auction expenses and announcements.
• Report travel-related expenses per policy.
