Job summary
Westlake Financial is seeking a Regional Asset Manager in San Antonio, TX (Remote) to oversee repossessed vehicle inventory and auction vendor relations. You will collaborate with auction management and internal teams, ensuring compliant prep, valuation, and sale decisions while controlling costs and maximizing net recovery.
The role requires independent work, strong organization, and experience in vehicle remarketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or college equivalent preferred.
- 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience required.
- Experience with vehicle valuation and reconditioning assessment.
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor and manage vendor performance and provide corrective actions.
- Manage regional inventory including transport status, inspections, grading, reconditioning estimates and sale preparation.
- Organize regular vendor status meetings and review scorecards and reporting.
- Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management
- Identify and execute market arbitrage opportunities
- Audit auction expenses and announcements
- Maintain and report travel-related expenses according to policy
