Job summary

Westlake Financial in Fort Wayne, IN, with a Remote option, seeks a Regional Asset Manager to oversee repossessed vehicle inventory and auction vendor relationships. You will drive asset valuation, reconditioning, and sale decisions to maximize net recovery while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

You will work closely with auction teams, manage travel and expense reporting, and supervise vendor performance, reporting to senior management. Strong analytics and independence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or college equivalent experience preferred.
• 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience required.
• Experience with vehicle valuation, reconditioning assessment, and wholesale remarketing channels.
• Understanding of macro and region-level auto pricing trends helpful.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and manage vendor performance per guidelines.
• Manage regional inventory including transport, inspections, grading, reconditioning estimates, and sale preparation.
• Conduct on-site reviews of auction procedures and sale effectiveness.
• Organize regular vendor status meetings and review performance reports.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management when needed.
• Identify and execute market arbitrage opportunities.
• Audit auction expenses and announcements.
• Maintain and report travel-related expenses per policy.
