Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Regional Asset Manager to oversee repossessed vehicle inventory and auction vendor relationships. You will guide vehicle assessment, reconditioning, and sale decisions to maximize net recovery while ensuring compliance across applicable regulations.

The role requires independent work, strong vendor governance, and ability to navigate multiple databases in a fast-paced environment. Remote work from the United States is supported with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience required.
• Experience with vehicle valuation and reconditioning processes.
• Ability to manage auction vendor relationships and budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and manage vendor performance and provide corrective actions.
• Manage regional inventory, transport, inspections, and sale preparation.
• Conduct on-site reviews of auction procedures and inventory prep.
• Coordinate vendor meetings and review scorecards and reporting.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management.
• Identify market arbitrage opportunities and audit expenses.
• Report travel expenses in accordance with policy.
