Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Regional Asset Manager for Fort Wayne, IN (Remote). The role focuses on maximizing net recovery through managing auction vendors, vehicle inventory, and sale preparation while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will collaborate across the Remarketing Department and other internal teams, monitor vendor performance, and optimize costs. A strong background in automotive remarketing and independent prioritization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or college equivalent experience preferred.
• 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience required.
• Experience with vehicle valuation, reconditioning assessment, and wholesale remarketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and manage vendor performance and provide corrective actions.
• Manage regional inventory and oversee transport status, inspections, grading, reconditioning estimates, and sale prep.
• Conduct on-site reviews of auction procedures and sale effectiveness.
• Organize vendor status meetings and review scorecards and reporting.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management when needed.
• Identify and execute market arbitrage opportunities.
• Audit auction expenses and announcements.
• Report travel-related expenses per company policies.
