Job summary

The Hankey Group is seeking a Regional Asset Manager in Seattle, WA (Remote) to oversee repossessed vehicle inventory and auction vendor relationships. You will coordinate assessment, reconditioning, and sale prep to maximize net recovery while ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will work cross-functionally with auction management and other departments, using data tools to drive decisions, manage budgets, and report results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5 years of auto/remarketing experience preferred.
• Experience managing regional inventory, auction vendors, and sale preparation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and manage vendor performance and provide corrective actions.
• Manage regional inventory, transport, inspections, grading, reconditioning estimates, and sale bids.
• Conduct on-site reviews of auction procedures and sale effectiveness.
• Organize vendor status meetings and review scorecards and reports.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management as needed.
• Identify and execute market arbitrage opportunities.
• Audit auction expenses and announcements.
• Report travel-related expenses per company policy.
