Job summary

Westlake Services, LLC is seeking a Regional Asset Manager in San Antonio with remote work options. You will oversee repossessed vehicle inventory, manage auction vendor relationships, and drive valuation, reconditioning, and sale decisions to maximize net recovery.

The role demands independent work, strong organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration within Remarketing and other internal teams. Compliance with policies and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or college equivalent experience preferred.
• 5 years of related automotive/remarketing experience required.
• Experience with vehicle valuation and reconditioning assessment.
• Familiarity with auction policies (e.g., NAAA) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and manage vendor performance and provide corrective actions.
• Manage regional inventory including transport, inspections, grading, and sale prep.
• Review auction procedures, inventory prep, and sale effectiveness on-site.
• Organize vendor status meetings and coordinate follow-up on deficiencies.
• Negotiate arbitration claims with senior management as needed.
• Audit auction expenses and report travel-related costs.
