Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the assigned region. You will develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy standards and regulatory requirements, and train field teams to follow procedures.

You will conduct audits, manage documentation, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance with AHJ requirements and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in quality management in solar or renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Certifications like ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma or PMP are desirable.
• Ability to develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOPs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects within the assigned region.
• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV QMS and contracts.
• Establish and improve quality systems for compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor quality via inspections and audits of projects and materials.
• Train project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients.
• Document inspections, audits, corrective actions and report findings.
• Proficiency with Sunscreen software to document quality matters and training.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, installation procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why or 8D) and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
