Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the assigned region. This remote role requires travel to project sites regularly to train field teams, conduct audits, and perform inspections in the Southwest region.

You will develop quality plans, manage AHJ compliance, and work closely with project managers, engineers and clients. Proficiency with Sunscreen software and ISO 9001 quality practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in solar or renewable energy.
• Certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30 or Journeyman credentials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and safety; experience with drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy's QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Establish and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor quality through audits and inspections of projects and ensure AHJ compliance.
• Train project teams on quality assurance practices and company documentation processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document inspections, audits, corrective actions, and report findings to management.
• Use Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent formal audits of documentation, installation procedures, and material handling.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods when issues arise.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
