Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the Southwest region. This role is remote with regular travel to site locations and client meetings.

You will develop quality plans, lead audits, train field teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and SOLV SOPs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Eligible candidates have 5+ years in solar QA, certifications, and an engineering degree; willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in quality management in solar/renewable energy.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30; Journeyman are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs, and contract requirements.
• Maintain quality systems to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits; identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes.
• Provide training on QA practices, SOPs, SWIs, MOPs, and reference guides.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document findings and prepare regular reports for management and clients.
• Use Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D; manage CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement; ensure compliance with standards.
