Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA for PV EPC projects in the assigned region, with remote work and regular travel to project sites in the Southwest. You will train field teams, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with SOLV Energy standards and industry regulations.

This role requires a minimum 5 years in solar quality management, strong QA methodologies, and knowledge of electrical construction. Proficiency with Sunscreen and QA tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30 or Journeyman credentials are common.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs, and contract requirements.
• Establish and continuously improve quality systems to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits, including AHJ and code compliance.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes in PV projects.
• Train project teams on QA practices and reference guides; ensure adherence to procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document findings and produce regular management and client reports.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations affecting projects.
