Job summary

Ingersoll Rand’s SEEPEX division is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow sales in the Southeast territory by managing distributor relationships and serving as the product and technical expert for industrial pump solutions. This highly autonomous role requires strong technical aptitude, customer-facing skills, and heavy travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of field sales experience.
• 1+ year prior experience selling, supporting, or applying industrial pump solutions in a field sales or technical sales environment.
• 1+ year working knowledge of pump fundamentals, including applications, sizing considerations, and performance characteristics.
• 1+ year experience discussing pump solutions with distributors, customers, and engineers, including technical and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow distributor/channel partner relationships across the assigned territory
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, distributors, and the internal SEEPEX sales and operations teams
• Achieve or exceed annual bookings and sales targets for the territory
• Support distributors with technical expertise, product application knowledge, and solution development
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop quotations, manage opportunities, and support order execution
• Conduct product presentations, training, and sales meetings for distributors and end users
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market share growth
• Accurately forecast sales activity and maintain CRM and reporting expectations
