Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Minnesota is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop and execute winning strategies within assigned territories and existing accounts. You will lead customer meetings, demonstrate products, and uncover opportunities across the Motorola portfolio.

The role requires 4+ years in sales or 6+ years, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and self-motivation. Travel up to 50% across MN/ND/SD. Target base salary range is $95k–$105k USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, customer success, military, and/or public safety experience
• OR 6+ years of sales, sales engineering, customer success, military, and/or public safety experience
• Outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute winning strategy within assigned territory and existing account base
• Schedule and lead customer meetings including prospecting, account management and relationships with governing buyers
• Demonstrate products (license plate reader, mobile and fixed video) to customers
• Identify additional sales opportunities within existing accounts across Motorola portfolio
• Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to eligible customers
• Ensure client awareness regarding product usefulness and operation
• Collaborate with Solution Sellers for cross-selling opportunities
• Build a long-term sales funnel and engage competitive accounts
• Coordinate/state user group meetings and technology workshops
