Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced sales professional to lead growth in a defined territory, managing relationships with public safety and government buyers. You will demonstrate products, uncover opportunities, and expand Motorola's portfolio within existing accounts.

The role requires 4+ years in sales/public safety, excellent communication, and strong self-starting drive. Travel up to 50% across MN/ND/SD with competitive base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, customer success, military, and/or public safety experience.
• OR 6+ years of sales, sales engineering, customer success, military, and/or public safety experience.
• Outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations desired.
• Strong relationship development and management skills.
• Ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute winning strategy within an assigned territory and existing account base.
• Schedule and lead customer meetings including prospecting, existing account management and Relationship with Economic Buying Influences.
• Prospect, schedule and run product demonstrations for license plate reader, mobile and fixed video products.
• Uncover additional sales opportunities within existing accounts including the Motorola portfolio.
• Solve problems and overcome sales obstacles to close deals.
• Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to eligible customers.
• Ensure client awareness regarding usefulness and operation of products and services purchased.
• Collaborate with Solution Sellers focusing on other portfolio areas for cross-selling.
• Build a long-term funnel and engage competitive accounts.
