Job summary

Safariland, a leader in protective equipment for law enforcement, seeks a Regional Manager to develop and sell to agencies in designated markets. You will service accounts, expand the customer base, and manage the regional sales pipeline.

The role requires 2+ years in law enforcement or emergency services sales, a 4-year degree or equivalent, a reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to meet sales goals. Proximity to NJ counties is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience in Business Sales and Marketing.
• 2+ years of law enforcement or emergency services sales experience.
• Must meet sales goals and be able to close sales.
• Must maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Must live in close proximity to NJ counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, or Warren.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning daily calls.
• Adjust sales presentations to customer type and competitive environment.
• Identify sales opportunities and guide accounts to the right product.
• Submit orders referencing part numbers according to agency guidelines.
• Maintain CRM to build the sales pipeline and track KPI performance.
• Monitor competition and market pricing to inform strategy.
• Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours.
• Develop product and policy recommendations based on market intelligence.
• Build relationships with vendor reps and maintain product knowledge.
• Attend regional trade shows and training to stay current.
