Job summary

Safariland is seeking a Regional Manager to grow sales with Law Enforcement and Public Safety agencies in the designated market. You will service existing accounts, seek new opportunities, and manage the pipeline using CRM.

Ideal candidates will have strong territory management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to close sales while maintaining a professional image. Residency in RI/MA/CT is preferred and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Business Sales and Marketing.
• Law enforcement or emergency services experience is a plus.
• Ability to present to individuals or groups and to communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
• Adjust content of sales presentations by studying the customer type and competitive environment.
• Identify sales opportunities, assist in guiding the account to the correct product, request quotes from Customer Service.
• Submit orders to customer service by referring to part numbers and agency purchasing guidelines.
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
• Leverage CRM to build and manage the sales pipeline, inform revenue guidance, and measure KPI’s.
• Monitor competition by gathering market information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours.
