Job summary

Volkert, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Marketing & Proposal Manager to lead the region's marketing team within the Program Management Region.

The role focuses on winning new business by steering the full pursuit lifecycle and coordinating with discipline leads and regional leadership. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and proven ability to manage multi-contributor proposals, preferably in the AEC industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience managing multi-contributor proposals.
• Experience leading proposal staff in AEC environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals from pre‑advertisement to submission.

Responsibilities

• Manage region's proposal development staff and coordinate with discipline leads to win new business.
• Lead full pursuit lifecycle including CIP tracking, RFP assessment, scope definition and go/no-go decisions.
• Facilitate brainstorming and strategy sessions with technical leads and proposal managers.
• Prepare proposals and oversee team production: compliance, timelines, writing assignments, reviews.
• Review final documents for persuasiveness, professionalism, and compliance.
• Support technical teams for client presentations and interviews.
• Oversee maintenance of project descriptions, resumes, and qualifications packages.
• Capture lessons learned and high-performing content after pursuits.
• Develop policies to strengthen future submissions.
• Support BD with collateral and conference materials.
• Contribute to regional digital brand with news submissions.
