Job summary

Trane Technologies plc, a leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking a Regional Project Administrator for its Data Center group. The role involves project setup, documentation, invoicing, and closeout under limited supervision, coordinating with project staff to ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities include scheduling, cost validation, customer communications, and cross-functional collaboration with HVAC field technicians and project managers.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three plus years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience and alignment with leadership principles.
• Participation in lean improvements activities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HVAC operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and reviews assigned projects, establishes schedules and parameters.
• Interacts with customers and representatives including owners and contractors.
• Schedules and participates in internal project team meetings.
• Validates cost to date and reconciles project data.
• Manages invoicing and coordinates formatting and attachments with Shared Financial Services.
• Reviews billing backlog and coordinates with Project Managers and field staff to resolve obstacles.
• Shares project concerns with Project Manager and leaders.
